| Abstrakt: | The subsequent study is by Norbert Rogosz and it shows the political life of Ancient Rome at the turn of the 40s BC, as exemplified by the debate in the Roman Senate on December 1, 50 BC, which concluded a nine month conflict between Caesar and Pompey, and between their allies. We get to know the essence of the conflict and the mentality of the political elite of the then Roman state. |
