The correspondence of Piotr Kochlewski the chief secretary of Radziwill’s office has been preserved in its basic part in the Archive of Old Documents in Warsaw. It contains numerous details concerning Kochlewski’s everyday work: information about the methods of editing documents, sending letters, archiving correspondence. The secretary tried to write Jucidlv, shortly. In his writings he cumulated information from the letters of other Radziwiłł courtiers. Moreover, he prepared replies in behalf of his patron, imitating the style of Krzysztof II Radziwiłł. His work was highly appreciated not only on the Birża court but also in the Royal office.
