Jan Kustos (1893-1932) - pograniczny polityk konfrontacji

Abstract

The author of the article outlines a biographic of Jan Kustos, considered above all to be a leader of a separatist movement in the interwar period in the Silesian voivodship. He shows the most important areas of his political and social activity (among others the editing and publishing of „Głos Górnego Śląska”, managing Związek Górnoślązaków-Polaków, transformed into Związek Obrony Górnoślązaków, fulfilling the role of a councilor of Katowice). Referring to the text title, he also presents various events from Jan Kustos’ life, proving the lack of ability in conducting a conciliative politics.
