| Abstrakt: | The paper seeks to answer the question if there exist any principles of title translation, and in particular, if the titles that have already been translated should remain the same when there is a retranslation of a given book (remake of a film or game)? Does Translation Studies explain the mechanics of such changes? This essay examines different types of the translation of titles in diachronic perspective and aims to specify its rules. |
