This paper is devoted to scratching problems, which are undertaken by one of trends in the
modern pedagogy – pedagogy of place. Anthropologically considered local place evoking a cultural
identity is included here in the perspective of a post-modern transformation, which leads to
a change of traditional places’ status, their hybridization, lass and disappearance. The subject of
researching interest is a problem concerning the construction of young people identity on the basis
of locality. This process, in the light of pedagogy of place, appears to be important, it must be realized
with respecting some necessary postulates.
