Abstract

The article is devoted to presentation of research methods applicable to theatre performance reception understood as a way of getting to know the audience and updating their cultural potential. The study contains a phenomenological exploration carried out as a pilot study and the empirical material has been grouped into the horizons of metaphor, message and audience development.
