| Abstrakt: | The aim of the text is a comparative analysis of the last scenes of two Romantic works: Krasiński’s drama entitled Irydion and Meyerbeer’s opera with Scribe and Delavigne’s libretto Robert the Devil. Revealed similarities are to serve not only the support of the hypothesis of intentional references to a great Romantic opera in a drama by a Polish author as they become above all a starting point for considerations on the basic outlines of a Romantic worldview. |
