Abstract

Old age is, in terms of development, just as important stage of life, like everyone else. Understanding the psychological aspects of aging and the different factors affecting the feeling of satisfaction with the current life situation of people in their late adulthood, it is about the regularities of adaptation to old age. An important element of this process appear to be efforts to inclusion of this group, who are particularly vulnerable to social exclusion. In this context, it is worth considering the role of family, society, and personal predisposition that can affect the process of successful adaptation to old age, including the ability to meet the needs and improve the quality of life of seniors. In this article, referring to the assumptions of the theory of activity and the theory of withdrawal, will be presented trials application own research on the personal aspects affecting the sense of well-being of economically active persons in late adulthood.
