dc.description.abstract | The author bases her argument on the analysis of three genres determining
the conception of the subject of a poem. These are a narrative poem, autobiography
and confirmation-confession. What these different genres have in common
is one thing, namely an attitude towards the truth. A narrative poem was
to present a mythic truth, while autobiography, in accordance with Lejeune’s
thesis, is based on an autobiographic pact assuming sincerity. A confrontation
of these genres makes everything that happens in the subject obtain a higher
rank. “I” has an extremely sublime position. Yet, confession is a genre in which
“I” “belittlement” happens, on the other hand, and the subject frees from
him/herself, and leaves a space in him/herself for God. Hence, what follows is
a transition of a lyrical “I” from the sphere of “a human being” to the sphere
of “a ghost”. | pl_PL |
