Modlitwa i nieobecność : poe-teo-logia Ryszarda Krynickiego

Abstract

The article concerns a specific experience of subjectivity in poetry by Ryszard Krynicki that could be defined as experiencing an incomplete absence or, simply devoid of in a representation it being a poetical work of basic changes and those sponsoring it typical of a late post-modernity. The text does not constitute a whole catalogue of poetical strategies of the manifestation of “I” (above all a negative manifestation). It is rather an attempt to consider the event of a poem-prayer – a case study of the subjectivity discovered in the register of one’s own individual poetical prayer. The main problem of the article is an attempt to describe a specific poe-theo-logical path of “I” revealed in the religious lyrics of the author of Kamień, szron that, generally speaking, goes from a significant silence as a praying expression, partly grounded in an apophatic tradition (***Nie wiem, czy mam prawo), by means of discovering a non-established experience of “I” (praying and addressing in poems ***(Ono, bezsenne and Fragmenty z roku 1989, through a poetical invocative towards what is absolutely different) to withdrawing its own presence somehow beyond the declarative discourse, which is shown in a short interpretation of Ryszard Krynicki’s last work analysed in the article (***nic, Bóg).
