The subject of a discussion included in this study is the musical talents seen
as an important problem of modern education in the prism of the society of knowledge.
The material outlines the specificity of training of artistically gifted child at school. The
analysis of selected institutions and their educational opportunities for artistic and educational
work was presented. An assessment of positive and negative feelings associated
with children’s musical education was made. Proposals for educational activities useful
in the educational work of teachers and caregivers were developed.
