Abstract: In the article the results of the survey research in which the academic teachers, preschool teachers and education students took part were presented. The authors’ aim was to diagnose teachers’ beliefs and attitudes towards key attributes of postmodern culture. The effort was made to grasp the way in which teachers valorize the distinguished phenomena and the way they value them. On the basis of the obtained results the conclusion concerning teachers’ attitudes was carefully drawn. Teachers’ attitudes most frequently prove teachers’ active participation in the sphere of culture and also indirectly determine the understanding of the quality and the direction of current changes.
