Abstract

The article touches upon the issues of the specificity of a chronic disease and its importance for a social conditioning of a child with a chronic disease as a dependent person. A child with a chronic disease has certain rights in the life environment as a receiver of health benefits, a student, and a patient in the hospital, as well as a person terminally ill being in the home environment. The article accentuates the necessity to undertake various educational actions propagating the process of developing social awareness in terms of the knowledge of and obedience of the rights of children with a chronic disease.
