Komunikacja medialna w perspektywie historycznojęzykowej : wybór problemów

Abstract

The overview, brief out of necessity, of selected problems concerning the media communication dealt with in a widely-understood historical-linguistic reflection, proves its complex and multi-level nature. It also makes us aware of the fact that a historical reflection on the domain of media communication is subject to evident changes within methodology, and the scope of topics selected as well as research aims formulated; from a historical-linguistic reflection using texts of media communication as an empirical material and studies on the evolution of Polish as an ethnic language to pragmalinguistic and genological studies and, the least developed of all, studies concentrated on the discourse level. What is also visible in this research area is a growing tendency for broadening a transdisciplinary nature of the examination of selected communicative phenomena to be observed in many branches of the humanities today.
