Polsko-amerykańska współpraca w dziedzinie politycznej i bezpieczeństwa na początku XXI wieku (wybrane aspekty)

Abstract

Presented study is devoted to the issue of bilateral relations between Poland and United States of America in mentioned fields of cooperation. Analysis is divided into four main parts. First of them focuses on the tender for the multi‑purpose aircraft for the Polish army, eventually won by an American company Lockheed Martin. Second — on Polish military involvement in operations in Afghanistan and Iraq (as a part of the Border issue of so‑called war on terror). Third part emphasizes the issue of missile shield and the last one — by comparing amount of money obtained from FMF and IMET programs — show Poland as the biggest recipient of U.S. military assistance in the region of Central Europe.
