dc.description.abstract | The article focuses on the selected plays by the Russian contemporary woman writer Nina
Sadur, in which she depicts the atrocities of war. In so doing, Sadur applies painful experience
and memories of a little boy, a victim of war, and a woman who lost her lover during the Battle
of Stalingrad. However, those heroes are not real — they are mere ghosts, the symbols of historical
events, but their pain seems to be very realistic. In her plays, Sadur makes references to war
victims’ experiences which in fact took place, and at the same time she wants the contemporary
recipient to analyze particular issues about armed conflicts, which developed simultaneously with
the societies all over the world. Furthermore, Sadur depicts the past, makes an attempt at having an
influence on the present, as well as the future, since all is dependent on the human being. | pl_PL |
