Andrzeja Bursy gra z tradycją : o "Zabiciu ciotki"

Abstract

This article concerns a novel by Andrzej Bursa entitled Killing Auntie. The author discusses the game motif – rendered in all sorts of ways in Bursa’s works – by pointing to elements of the sender-receiver strategy employed by the writer at each level (especially the intra-textual one). The analysis of the work is, among other things, inscribed into a context of Gombrowicz-like understanding of form, as well as into a context of polemics with the schematism of socialist realism or literature dealing with atrocities of the World War II.
