Rzeczywiste i nierzeczywiste w (nie)filmowym obrazie świata jugosłowiańskiego i postjugosłowiańskiego

Abstract

The main aim of the article is to present the specific nature of the Yugoslavian and Post-Yugoslavian reality. In this paper there are shown the social and political conditions of existing first in Yugoslavia and then — after the Breakup of Yugoslavia — in the former Yugoslavian countries. Moreover, there are demonstrated the most frequent myths and stereotypes about the Southern and Western Balkans which are exemplified by literary and critical texts and first of all Emir Kusturica’s film Underground.
