Realizacja kategorii świadka we współczesnym literackim języku macedońskim na przykładzie tekstów prasowych

Abstract

The category of witness in the modern literary Macedonian language on the example of press articles. This paper investigates the use of the category of witness which is present in the modern Macedonian language and which does not exist in Polish. It offers a comprehensive description of the conditions of its application: tenses, by means of which it can be expressed (aorist and imperfect) as well as its dependance on the stylistic form and genre. Furthermore it examines its forms and stylistic functions and presents the researchers; opinions on this matter. The application of the category of witness is presented on the example of press articles in which the difference between direct and indirect press messages is most visible. Additionally press articles contain many exceptions to the regular use of the described category.
