Abstract

Some problems of modern cities as well as the related threats are presented in this article. The European legal regulations have been shown. The friendly city is also decent housing for all. Therefore, the elimination of poverty and extreme poverty should be aimed at. Cities should also be friendly to the elderly and available to all social groups, without architectural barriers and with a good public transport network, accessible public services and information. Towns friendly to all affect the quality of life, ensure social cohesion and safety.
