dc.description.abstract | The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci is one of the most recognizable paintings in the
world. It is also one of the most proceeded cultural texts by Internet users - there are a variety of
online variants. These Internet Memes draw from the wealth of mass culture but can also be a kind
of advertising or art manifests. The author attempts to analyse this phenomenon by proposing the
classification of collected works of art and asking what kind of elements cause extraordinary popularity
