Abstract

Niecne memy. Dwanaście wykładów o kulturze internetu of Magdalena Kamińska is one of the few titles on the polish editor’s market that touch the issue of memetics in any way. One of the phenomena described in twelve essays raising the subject of cyberculture, is an internet meme. The author does not see the link between this meme and the Dawkins’ theory though. In spite of that controvestial fact, the book is a valuable work for those interested in the culture of the Internet – it is a specific catalogue of the cyberculture phenomena described in a way proving the authors good recognition of a subject, also in a theoretical aspect.
