| Abstract: | The aim of the article is to describe the functions of conversation (primarily colloquial) in the 20 century poetic texts, where it is commonly found, though often transformed and modified. The conversation is used in poetry mostly to create the contrast as an artistic means, reflecting the distance between interlocutors. More seldom is the poetic dialogue a synonym of closeness. |
