Tajemnicze ogrody : rozprawy i szkice z literatury dla dzieci i młodzieży. [Cz.] 2

Abstract

The book contains dissertations and drafts devoted to the classic youth literaturę (W pustyni i w puszczy by Henryk Sienkiewicz, Kamienie na szaniec, „Zośka" i „Parasol" by Aleksander Kamiński, Kłopoty Kacperka góreckiego skrzata, Topsy i Lupus by Zofia Kossak, and Ziele na kraterze by Melchior Wańkowicz), a contemporary return to it, as well as its new readings, often, even overinterpretations (Jan Sztaudynger, Władysław Broniewski) by researchers and readers. The second direction of considerations is devoted to new literary works that have been equally popular among youth for years. Their authors are M. Musierowicz, D. Terakowska, E. Nowak, as well as less-known, though extremely reputable and worth popularization, contemporary writers, such as father Łukasz Kamykowski, Zofia Chądzyńska. There is also a draft devoted to J. Papuzińska, an outstanding expert of works for young audience and an author of “Guliwer”, a magazine on a book for children. The title of the publication refers to the volume of Secret gardens which appeared in 1996. Both are related by a motive of a garden presented in almost each draft and dissertation as a space invariably associated with the time-space of the “land of child’s years”.
