Abstrakt: | The article undertakes the problem of methods and possibilities of the diachronic account
of public discourse. Due to the fact that the concept in question is very broad, and the subject
of the analysis is multidimensional as well as thematically and typically diversified, it is
proposed that the sphere of public communication be subclassified into the most important areas
of human activity organizing community life, which will allow to identify such phenomena
as legal‑administrative
discourse, school‑didactic
discourse, scientific discourse, religious‑
denominational discourse, political discourse, and others. The most essential research task in the
diachronic survey is to indicate the variable elements of individual discourse types, which testify
to their transformation conditioned by external factors, as well as to indicate stable elements,
which were formed during the initial period of the development of communication fields, and
which are indicative of some stability of content, form, and genres. |
