| Abstract: | The article proposes a series of classes integrating literary and linguistic content, based on an analysis and interpretation of selected Szymborska’s poems (W zatrzęsieniu, Utopia, Radość pisania and Prospekt). As each of these poems is full of remolded set phrases, they can be an excellent starting point for discussion regarding the function of structural changes that Szymborska introduced to common phrases. They can also serve as the point of departure for discussion of linguistic categories such as innovation and a poetic function of language. |
