"Wakuole" współczesnej megapolis : nowa utopia

Abstract

The author explores the manifestation of idea of the vacuole in contemporary philosophy and art. In the article there is an attempt to find origins and traces of geopoetics in the works of poets, scientists, and philosophers. The author devotes a lot of attention to a problem of “filled up and cemented up space” described in Kenneth White’s philosophic works. Researcher demonstrates the meaning of relations between White’s concept and the idea of the vacuole which expresses a disengaged and unoccupied space. Also, in the context of theory of the American architect Buckminster Fuller there is mentioned the question of technics and intelligence and their ability to fit into the geopoetic picture of world.
