Wychowanie „do wartości” a współczesna rzeczywistość cywilizacyjna

Abstract

The deliberations undertaken in the present paper are related to education towards values under the conditions of strongly widespread Western mass culture which, in various ways, tries to permeat everyday life of every individual, carrying with itself a tendency to replace values with their substitutes, or mockups. The effects of this phenomenon appear to be particularly severe for young people, in whom a state of internal chaos and susceptibility to different kinds of destructive influences might be generated. In this context, education put into categories of values becomes primary hope for counteracting this type of civilization threats.
