| Abstrakt: | The paper presents the results of studies con-cerning the estimate of the age of selected deciduous trees, using the dendrochronological method. Fagus sylvatica, Quercus robur and Quercus petrea were evaluated. Research work was carried out in forest nature reserves in Opolskie Voivodeship: Boże Oko, Jeleni Dwór, Lubsza, Komorzno. Studies have shown that the average age of deciduous trees in the nature reserves in the Opole province is over 150 years, and the oldest specimens of each species do not exceed the age of 300 years. Among the analyzed species sessile oaks proved to be the oldest. |
