Dostępność komunikacji miejskiej i podmiejskiej w kraju morawsko-śląskim w Republice Czeskiej

Abstract

The article is a studying of public transport availability in the Moravia-Silesia country on the level of little districts and cities. In the article there is an analysis of: spatial and demographic density of stops, quality of public transport offer, real spatial availability of stops and time availability of the city center and other cities. These analysis were made using cartographic methods, based on the over 500 cities and regional lines of the public transport and railway lines. The results were compared with the results achieved in the previously (similar) studying of the Katowice and Rybnik conurbations in the Silesian voivodship in Poland. Finally, using synthetic instrument, compared availability of public mass transport in the little districts and cities of the Moravia-Silesia country.
