| Abstract: | Beer is one of the most popular and oldest beverages of humanity. The first part of the article describes the geological conditions of its production, the history of beer brewing, methods of producing spe-cific to different civilizations, the process of its spread around the world, from ancient times to modern. In the second – contains the characteristics of the modern beer industry in the world, its distribution, production volume and consum-ption in terms of global and regional level. |
