| Abstrakt: | The paper presents an interpretation of Barahczak’s poem Południe (Noon). The author reveals the hieroglyphical structure of the poem, stressing the fact that it is an icon-poem (technopaegnium), whose inner structureis related to its graphical form and symbolic meaning of a presented object (Południe, having the shape of a sand-glass, approaches the issue of man’s life-time, since birth to death). The interpretation refers to tradition of the baroque vanitative poetry and romantic mystical poetry of Juliusz Słowacki. |
