| Abstract: | The assessment of microbiological danger grade of the Paulinian book collection in Skałka was limited to 200 volumes (180 old printings and 20 incunabular). All the objects showed the signs of microorganism activity – discolouring, stains, dirt, mutilations or deformities. Samples were taken to prove the presence of the mould. It was proved that 141 objects showed the mould infection in different grade. In general, the state of conservation of the collection is good. |
