Abstract

In the recent years electronic databases have became an important source of information about old printings. Projects’ goal is to make old printings available to more readers. They include works about electronic catalogues of each library, creation of central catalogues, elaboration of electronic bibliographies and full-text databases and information service about old printings. Electronic information services open new scientific prospects and they are conducive to extension of scope of information about antique printings. They protect the originals from being damaged as well.
