The purpose of this article is to present the results of a study – the evaluation and analysis of e-learning tools used in 51 courses and available on the open platform at the University of Silesia. The paper analyzes and evaluates the multimedia, interactive, communicative and evaluation tools, as well as Web 2.0. The article also describes the “Library adaptation” workshop prepared by the Library of the University of Silesia, which is available on the library’s home page.
