| Abstrakt: | This article presents issues related to the diagnose and therapy children with FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) in the foster care system. The following paragraphs describe the disorders that occur in people after prenatal exposure to alcohol, taking into account long-term effects on social functioning. There has been described the mechanism of overlapping various traumatic experiences connected with FASD and livinf in institution. There also are indicated diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties and identified needs in the area of FASD. |
