Abstract

The paper presents theoretical considerations showing the figure of an elementary education teacher, who performs didactic and educational functions in accordance with the expectations determined by the theory and practice of a musical education. The outlined picture was confronted with a real insight into the musical competence of the contemporary early school educator.
