| Abstract: | The study is concentrated on the character of the mother in the novel Une étoile aux cheveux noirs (Dark Haired Star, 2011) in which Ahmed Kalouaz combines the conventions of autobiography, letter, tourist book and poetry. The subject of deliberations here are representations of everyday life of the Algerian immigration community in France from 1960s to the present day. |
