Czym jest gotowość komunikacyjna? : studium przypadku bliźniaczek z opóźnionym rozwojem mowy

Abstract

The aim of the paper is to describe the case study of two twin sisters with speech delays based on the observations and experiments conducted in the form of the prepared tasks. The author focuses on the children’s interaction skills and characterizes their speech taking into consideration the speech quality, quantity as well as the problems encountered by the children in the process of communication. The study reveals the level of communicative competence represented by the girls, as well as their sociolinguistic skills. The article finally attempts to define the concept of “readiness to communicate”.
