Zastosowanie "Lidcombe Program" w terapii jąkającego się dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym

Abstract

The article provides the description and analysis of the case of a preschool child suffering from stammering who was provided with the Lidcombe Program. The author describes the theoretical aspects of this particular speech disorder and presents the structure of the therapy based on this particular therapeutic tool. The article emphasizes that the Lidcombe Program’s effectiveness has been empirically proven. Taking into consideration her own therapeutic experiences, the author describes the stages of the Lidcombe Program therapy for a stammering child. Both positive and negative aspects of the program are indicated within this paper.
