Abstrakt: | The French cultural and educational policy is an important and firm element of the
molding of social policy in this country. It results from historical experience, which was
molded in the process of state formation. The state preserves cultural authenticity and
maintains international significance. A realization of a postulate, which sets the autonomy
of the cultural policy of France, plays a particular part in this process. It is a care
of the national cultural heritage, which manifests in not only the behavior, research
and popularization of forms recognized as classical and traditional, thus commonly
perceived as good and valuable, but also it is interested in supporting the contemporary
artistic culture, which is rooted in the modern tradition joining science, technology
and art
However, none of the elements of this policy will be realized if there is no conscious
and wide activity conducted to make the audience sensitive to the traditional and contemporary
art and culture. It can only happen when it when done through the cultural
and educational institutions. That is why the turn of the 20th century is characteristic
of a clear dominance of activities of educational character in the French cultural and
educational policies. Education of active participation in culture and art and the preservation
and transmission of the cultural heritage of the state are the targets of this policy.
These guidelines are realized in French schools, which support all innovative
projects of the cultural education. These are the Cultural and artistic education for all.
Artistic and cultured education from kindergarten to university, and Schedule of artistic
and cultural activities in schools. |
