Abstract

The paper aims to present the part of reality concerned with the present linguistic activity of teenagers. As the young people accept the picture and the attitude of “having” that is popular in the world of adults, they comment on it in their own language. On the one hand, their language and in fact its vocabulary and phraseology scare off with its vulgarity and plainness. On the other hand, it sometimes surprises with its positive creativity. Above all, the slang restricts the cognitive perspective of teenagers and seems to lack virtues associated with the attitude of being.
