Między tradycją a zmianą : 50 lat z historii dekanatu Mysłowice (1968-2018)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to have a look at the life of the deanery of Mysłowice in the last half-century from the pastoral and theological perspective. After the initial explanation of terms, the author emphasizes the importance of the deanery in the structure of the local Church. The paper enumerates consecutive stages of the creation of new parishes and development of sacral architecture in the deanery of Mysłowice, which is followed by the analysis of the statistical data concerning the clergy and lay faithful of the deanery. The most important events of the latest history of the deanery in question have been presented. Eventually, the author presents conclusions and requests concerning further operations of the deanery of Mysłowice.
