Hospicjum im. Łukasza Ewangelisty w Cieszynie promotorem działań na rzecz wartości w środowisku lokalnym

Abstract

The author discusses the activity of the Association of the Ailing’s Friends Luke the Evangelist Hospice in Cieszyn in the light of social pedagogy, especially Helena Radlińska’s concept of “social powers”. The role of the Cieszyn hospice is indicated in activating social powers and in building the community – both the one directly associated with the hospice and the community which is being built as a result of the activities of the hospice environment and the values promoted by it.
