dc.description.abstract	In the paper an analysis of how different determinants influence innovation and organizational performance is presented. The results of path analysis (structural equation modeling) show that research and development (R&D) financial resources, specialization and different leadership styles have a significant impact on product and administrative innovation. Those impacts are reflected in two measures of a firm’s performance – objective financial reports and executive ratings of perceived effectiveness. Using the sample of 219 Polish firms form Silesia Region (with at least 20 full-time employees), this study contributes to the emerging literature on innovation by providing an integrated conceptual model.	pl_PL
