Abstract

The chapter discussed the issue related to the factors healers in psychotherapy (on the patient and psychotherapist), which may be important for the success of psychotherapy regardless of the theoretical approach in which the therapist works. Discusses the characteristics of the patient associated with successful psychotherapy: motivation and the level of disorder, as well as the characteristics associated with successful psychotherapist psychotherapy: mental health therapist and his qualifications and experience, the importance of the therapeutic relationship to the success of psychotherapy and the phenomenon of transference in the therapeutic relationship.
