Abstract

The article aims at indicating the influence of developing infrastructure and all elements developing the nature of infrastructural investing on changes in the landscape of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains region. The changes in the landscape are determined by natural and non-natural factors. Demographical and economic factors are two examples of non-natural elements that determine the character of activities being conducted in agriculture, forestry and infrastructural investments. The landscape of the region is characterized by a wide variety of forms, areas of cultivation and colonization. A varied topography is perceived as an essential factor increasing the value of the region. Migrations of people, agriculture, industry concentration and tourism development are considered the most important among elements developing the nature of infrastructural investing and their influence on the landscape.
