Abstrakt: | The article is devoted to issues of work quality and aging of the Polish society in the post-Fordist
era. Changes in the forms of employment pose numerous threats and create opportunities for combining
work with parenting and care work, including unpaid work at home. This provided context for analysing
concepts such as diversity management in terms of gender and generational diversity management as well
as the Work–Life–Balance concept. The article focuses in particular on 50+ employees and their unpaid
care work frequently performed by them, which seems to be underestimated in the analyses related to
age management and Work–Life–Balance. All the analyses have been undertaken with the aim to create
working conditions which would enable employers to take advantage of the elder employees’ potential. |
