| Abstrakt: | When assessing the character of Wojciech Korfanty on the threshold of the new 21st century, one‘s attention is drawn to the change of a look at this most famous and recognizable Polish historical politician of Upper Silesia. Today, what is more appreciated is his super-regional significance, with an emphasis on the roles performed during the Greater Poland Insurrection and the activities on the forum of the Polish Parliament. Disputes around the evaluation of the figure of Korfanty have therefore also influenced today’s evolution of Poland‘s historical awareness of the whole history of Upper Silesia in the 20th century. |
