dc.description.abstract	Writing about the history after 1945 the author stresses the fact that the image of the uprisings changed visibly along with the new political situation and the selective communist egime’s “demand” for various components of the insurrectionary tradition, which lasted until 1989. Ultimately, celebration of the anniversaries gained increasing importance for the Communist authorities, which have, over time, transformed the Silesian Uprisings into elements of the official ideology of the State.	pl_PL
